Enrollment Criteria

We are so excited that you are interested in applying to Bushwick Community High School! We are a transfer high school serving 14 to 21-year-olds. Through a diverse, community-oriented, safe, caring, and disciplined environment, BCHS vows to guide your young adult to the path of success. Additionally, to help your student reach their personal goals,  we focus on a culture of high expectations, personal bonds of trust and respect, a curriculum of social justice, and college and community partnerships. The vision of Bushwick Community High School (BCHS) is for students to become empowered for positive social transformation and liberation. We educate and inspire our students to positively transform themselves, their local communities and their world at large. Graduates of our school will be critical, analytical and independent thinkers.
